CREIGH KELLEY

Creigh, pronounced Cree, is one of nation’s most popular and recognizable announcers, having been the voice of many of the largest triathlon and running events in the U.S. and abroad for the past 34 years. He has done radio and TV color commentary at local and national events, including the Giant Race (SF Giants) in Arizona during spring training, the Half Marathon Championships, World Triathlon Championships, Chicago Marathon, Columbus Marathon, the Summer Olympics in Sydney, and the PRRO Championships.

ABC Sports Radio selected Creigh as their international Track and Field and Triathlon Analyst and he was awarded the SILVER DOME AWARD for Excellence in Broadcasting by the Illinois Broadcasters Association for his play-by-play commentary of the Chicago Marathon. He has announced the start/finish line of the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials four times.  Creigh has been a competitor, agent, race director, and leader in the international running community, enriching his announcing assignments.

  • Noted by Runner’s World Magazine as one of three best national announcers (2011)

  • U.S. Army Combat Officer in Vietnam 2 Bronze Stars, Vietnamese Honor Medal and served later in Germany
  • One of a handful of pioneers  that acted as professional agents to the original superstars of distance running
  • Member Colorado Distance Running Hall of Fame and Member Running USA National Hall of Champions
