Creigh (pronounced "Cree") has been a competitor, agent, race director, national consultant, and elected leader in the national and international running community for 30 years.


 

 Professional Experience

  • BKB, Ltd. - President (1980 - Present). BKB has managed, produced and directly assisted with over 1,000 recreation special events throughout the nation over the last 30 years
  • National Consultant - Race for Fetal HopeTM , Prostate Cancer PACETM Race Series, Zooma RunTM Women's Race Series
  • Race Director, Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon, Norfolfk Freedom Half Marathon (2011) & Freedom Marahton ( 2012)
  • National Consultant to several marathons over the years in their creation and production, including Akron Marathon, Colfax Marathon, Colorado Marathon, Cozumel Marathon, Cancun Marathon
  • University of Southern California, MA; Virginia Military Institute, BA
  • U.S. Army Combat Officer in Vietnam and Germany (1969 -1973, 2 Bronze Stars, Vietnam Honor Medal 1st Class)
  • Professional agent of several distance Olympians (1980 -1990)
  • Awarded the SILVER DOME AWARD for Excellence in Broadcasting by the Illinois Broadcasters Association for his play-by-play commentary of the Chicago Marathon
  • Inductee of the 2009 Colorado Running Hall of Fame
  • Inductee into the Running USA Hall of Champions 2011
  • Continues to run 4 - 6 days a week and occasionally races
